TDI REBREATHER MIXED GAS DIVER COURSE – 60 meters

The TDI CCR Mixed Gas diver course  available in Phuket Thailand, is the intermediate level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) for mixed gas diving.

This experience can let you to the TDI Mixed Gas Diluent CCR Diver Course.

    • Emergency procedures
    • Removing and replacing off-board gases
    • Surface marker buoy deployment
    • CNS tracking
    • Contingency planning

The objective of the course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for mixed gas diving on rebreathers, utilizing a mixed gas diluent containing sixteen (16%) percent or greater oxygen, and to develop intermediate CCR diving skills appropriate to technical diving to a maximum of two hundred (216) fsw / sixty (60) msw.

This TDI CCR Mixed Gas Course is Unit Specific. Blue Label Diving can teach the following rebreathers under TDI:  Triton , JJ CCR , Megalodon, Pathfinder or Poseidon MKVI and Seven

For Inspiration / Evolution courses Blue Label Diving instructor Ben Reymenants can teach this unit under PADI.

Student Prerequisites TDI CCR Mixed Gas Diver Course:

TDI MIXED GAS CCR REBREATHER COURSEUnit Specific
Minimum age:Minimum age 18
Min certification/diver level:TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver or equivalent recognised by TDI. TDI trimix diver (may be combined with program) Provide a verified log of a minimum of 50 rebreather hours distributed over a minimum of 50 dives on the specific rebreather; 50 percent deeper than 20 metres / 66 feet. All must be deeper than 9 metres / 20 feet.If the diver has 50 hours on another CCR unit recognised by TDI, only 25 hours are required to be on the specific unit
Course Duration:5 days including 6 dives deeper than 40 mtrs/ 130 feet to maximum depth of 100fsw/60msw – 8 dives if combined with trimix diver. Last dives take place in Song Hong Lake to b ale to reach 60 meters
System:CCR
SPECIFIC REBREATHERS:Megalodon, Pathfinder, Triton, JJ CCR, Poseidon Seven
Prerogatives:Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in technical diving activities utilising the unit specific CCR to a maximum of 60 metres / 200 feet, utilising a mixed gas diluent containing 16 percent or greater oxygen
