TDI INSTRUCTOR COURSE – ADVANCED TRIMIX – HYPOXIC

The TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor Course – Hypoxic trimix – only available in Phuket Thailand, provides the training required to competently and safely teach breathing gases containing helium for dives that need staged decompression to a maximum depth of 100 metres. The goal of this course is to train Instructors to teach the benefits, hazards and proper procedures of utilising custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases containing less than 18% Oxygen – HYPOXIC TRIMIX.

As Phuket’s regular Dive Sites do not reach these depths, our Advanced trimix Instructors will take you to the lake down south of Thailand, called Song Hong. This Lake is a Sink Hole which reaches 177 meters depth. If you would rather dive deep walls than our facility in Bunaken Indonesia, that has walls that go deeper than 2000 meters, please contact us directly for more information as there is a minimum requirement for the amount of students.

TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor Course Prerequisites

Minimum age 21
Certification as a TDI Advanced Trimix Diver or equivalent
Certification as a TDI Extended Range Instructor or TDI Trimix Instructor or equivalent
Provide proof of 250 logged dives, of which 30 must be Trimix dives
Provide proof of 20 dives deeper than 55 metres / 180 feet

And meet one of the following experience requirements:

Certify at least 10 extended range divers or Trimix divers to depths of at least 45 metres / 150 feet
Assist with at least 2 complete TDI Advanced Trimix classes taught by an active TDI Advanced Trimix Instructor and provide a letter of recommendation from the assisted instructor(s)
