TDI TRIMIX INSTRUCTOR COURSE

The TDI Trimix Instructor Course – Entry Level –  only available in Phuket Thailand, provides the training required to competently and safely teach breathing gases containing helium for dives that need staged decompression to a maximum depth of 60 metres.

The goal of this course is to train Instructors to teach the benefits, hazards and proper ways of utilising custom oxygen/helium/nitrogen mixtures as breathing gases containing no less than 18% Oxygen – NORMOXIC TRIMIX.

If weather doesn’t allow or at special request the last day of Diving can be done in Song Hong Lake, down South of Thailand (4 hrs drive from Phuket). This lake reaches a depth of 177 meters and is a fresh water lake.

The course can be done on either advanced Sidemount setup or on Back mount configurations.

TDI Trimix Instructor Course Prerequisites:

• Minimum age 2l
• Minimum certification as a TDI Trimix Diver and a TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures Instructor, or equivalent
• Proof of 15 certified advanced nitrox or decompression procedures divers; minimum of 10 must be decompression procedures divers
• Provide proof of 250 logged dives with a minimum of 20 logged Trimix dives outside of training, 10 of these dives must be in the last 12 months
