CCR ADVANCED MIXED GAS – 100 meters

The TDI CCR Advanced Mixed gas Diver level course available in Phuket Thailand and conducted partly in Phuket (Day 1 and 2) and the rest in Song Hong Lake. This is the highest level certification course for divers wishing to utilise CCR for advanced mixed gas diving.

Unit Specific. 
The highest level of CCR training that TDI offers, the Advanced Mixed Gas course will teach you to use the full capabilities of a CCR.

With a maximum depth of 100 meters (330 feet) this course opens up new wrecks, caves and walls to explore. This intensive course will focus on all the elements needed to plan and execute dives to these depths. Topics and skills for this course include:

  • Off board gas calculations and management
  • Gas shutdowns and loss of gas drills
  • Equivalent narcotic depth calculation
  • Recovering from system failure
  • Labelling and placing of off board gases

This TDI CCR Advanced Mixed gas Course is Unit Specific. Blue Label Diving can teach the following rebreathers under TDI:  Triton, JJ CCR, Megalodon or Poseidon Seven

For Inspiration / Evolution courses Blue Label Diving instructor Ben Reymenants can teach this unit under PADI.

Student Prerequisites TDI CCR Advanced Mixed Gas Course:

TDI CCR ADVANCED MIXED GAS
Unit Specific
Minimum age:Minimum age 18
Min certification/diver level:TDI Mixed gas CCR Course or equivalent from agencies recognised by TDI.
Min amount of dives:Have a verified log of a minimum of one hundred (100) CCR hours distributed over a minimum of one hundred (100) dives on the specific CCR. Fifty (50) % of these dives must be deeper than one hundred (100) fsw / thirty (30) msw. All to be deeper than twenty (30) fsw / nine (9) msw. If the diver has one hundred (100) hours on another CCR unit recognised by TDI, only fifty (50) hours are required to be on the new chosen unit. Or Have completed and qualified the TDI Mixed gas CCR Course or equivalent from agencies recognised by TDI.
Course Duration:5 days including 7 dives  of which 5 of the mixed gas dives must be decompression dives. To maximum depth of 330fsw/100msw
System:CCR Specific Rebreathers:
TRITON, Megalodon, JJ CCR, Poseidon Seven
Prerogatives:Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in technical diving activities utilising the unit specific CCR to a maximum of 100 metres / 330 feet, utilising a mixed gas diluent containing 14 percent or greater oxygen.
